We had a fantastic trip at Villa Pescadores. We were looking for a relaxing trip on the beach and that is exactly what we received. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this is not your place. I thought that the staff was really nice and helpful and the food was good and comparably priced to the other Beach clubs which is a bit expensive compared to in town. The front desk people are really cool and helpful. They bring coffee or tea to your room every morning which was THE BEST. We ate several times at the beach club and only one thing ended up not being very good which was the hamburger which he ordered medium and it came out raw. Oh well, things happen . Probably should have ordered well done. There are a lot of food options during the day but at night the food is a bit limited in the area so I would suggest a big late lunch or dinner on property. The property was beautiful and very relaxing. In the room they provided a safe, bug spray, sun lotion, shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hand soap which was great. They also have a ceramic water dispenser that they fill up and we used that our whole trip. Bringing a refillable water bottle is a must. The air conditioning is cut off during the day but we didn't find that to be inconvenient. They offer bike rentals for a price but we did not use them. The hotel also offers yoga twice a week for a donation to the teacher and I really enjoyed that. There was only a couple of us and I really like the yoga teacher. About a 10-minute walk to the ruins which was great. Keep in mind that you do have to pay 61 pesos to get into the park if you enter between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and that has to be paid every day if you leave the park. The hotel will credit your bill for the initial park entry. In addition, plastic bottles and some other restrictions apply in the park but we were able to bring in a little beer and wine secretly. I was told that sometimes they search vehicles.

Villa Pescadores offers beautiful private villas set in a white sand tropical enclave right on the beach in the quiet, more modern Tulum National Park area. The accommodations are both charming and elegant with smaller thatched-roof cottages with one queen or two twin beds, all opening up to pleasant private decks right on a sandy, palm tree shaded promenade that runs through the property. There are also larger deluxe top and bottom duplex rooms with two queen beds that also spill out to the promenade that opens one of the nicest beach areas in all of Tulum. Conveniently, is where the colorful snorkeling boats depart for the nearby reef. The service, cleanliness and attention to detail is at VP is impeccable, with special kudos to the front desk manager Jamie and her crew who quickly responded to any request. VP is within walking distance to the Tulum archeological park, though requires an expensive cab ride to get to Tulum Centro. I strongly recommend renting a car. One cab ride per day will pay for it. Having your own car more affordably opens up the many tours of archeological sites, magical cenotes, mystical ceremonies, and Myan communities that are the heart and soul of Tulum. We splurged on the tours led by Pluma of Pluma Conscious Tours. With us providing the transportation, these private tours cost about the same as small group tours, and Pluma is a soulful gem, very connected with the Mayan community, speaking English quite well along with Mayan and Spanish. He even gives surf lessons! My daughter and I appreciated the low key, quiet ambiance of Villa Pescadores while just a three minute beach walk away we loved the soulful elevated, somewhat noisy vibrations of the Ikal Tulum Hotel.

Firstly the amazing staff should be the first reason should come here. Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive in all of out interactions and its nice to see familiar faces during our staff. The reception staff were always on hand to help with questions and organising, taxis, trips and they even helped us rent an atv that was delivered straight to the hotel which made the process super easy! The cleaning staff did an incredible job everyday and not a speck of sand was left in the bedroom. The bed was super comfy and waking up on the beach everyday was so dreamy! I loved the added detail of getting tea and coffee delivered to the room each day, it was so nice to sit outside in the morning with the calm and beautiful surroundings. The location feels extremely safe as its based in the jaguar national park. The breakfast in the morning exceeded expectations and the location of the hotel was beautiful. We had planned go to beach clubs before our trip but the beach club at the hotel was he perfect chilled vibe serving great drinks and food at a reasonable price. I would love to come back here and would recommend to any of my friends.

From the moment we arrived, we experienced the BEST hospitality- Victor and Alberto felt like family after our week stay. The Villa is DIRECTLY on the beach with a 10/10 location. Breakfast, coffee/juice was served daily (included) along with beachside beverages and food options for purchase throughout the day. The room was safe, air conditioned, cleaned and had a beautiful bathroom. The ruins were a 10min walking distance ON THE BEACH, and a short 12min Tax to all the hottest restaurants and clubs located in the Tulum Beach area. The beach was clean, and the water was crystal clear. Our agenda in Tulum was a girls trip celebrating my birthday (3 females) wanting to explore ruins, cenotes, beach days, pool parties and fiestas at night. Staying at Villa Pescadores allowed for all of this AND MORE! The staff was always available to assist with taxis, recommendations, bringing in a massage therapist, etc. I am recommending this to ALL my friends and family as we will most definitely be back!
